What the Week of Christmas looks like from a Mover’s perspective

While most of us are running around trying to find the perfect gift or bake our last minute goodies, our movers are working hard. I don’t know how they do it! I guess they have to do all their errands at night after their intense workout; if it were me i’d need to hit the hay!

Our mover’s have packed up one of our client’s and then driven to Virginia and unpacked their stuff. They also have 6 – yes I said 6 – 3 to 5 hour moves. Along with that they are doing piano deliveries for Ga. Music and moving stuff for Houston Springs community. I know what you are thinking wow these guys need a raise – am I right! Well Santa is coming to town so that might be in his bag for our guys.

Merry Christmas and we hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday!

Moving during the Christmas season?

The holidays are a wonderful and magical time.  It is also a very hectic time; we are doing everything from hosting holiday parties to buying gifts for our family and friends.  Luckily this article will help you combine two of your to do list items.

If you are moving during the holidays you know that the holidays are even more hectic than regularly.  If you are thinking about skipping your holiday cards this year – please continue reading this article.  Why not let your family and friends receive holiday wishes and a change of address notification at the same time?  This is a great way to keep your holiday traditions and notify your family and friends of your new address.

Try to eat all the food in your pantry.  This will free up space for other things when packing and also save on boxes.

Buy your presents online and ship them to you new address or pack them with your belongings.  Make sure to keep them away from prying eyes.

Keep the holiday decorations so you can easily access them.  This way you can put them up in your new home right away.  It is important to try and make your new home as decorative as you can so it will help ease the transition of your move (especially for the kids).

We hope that this helps make your holidays a little less stressful and we hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

Moving during the Christmas season?

What a Mover’s Week!

What didn’t our mover’s do last week?  They performed a move in the snow in Maryland, Moved some furniture for a commercial furniture company, delivered Georgia Family Magazines, performed a move in Atlanta for an interior designer, moved grand pianos for churches, delivered a grand to the Mall in Milledgeville, performed a warehouse cleanup, did a few small moves for a local apartment complex that loves us, and did piano deliveries for Ga Music!

I mean if that isn’t moving in action I don’t know what is!  So I know you are thinking well did the guys need the next week off after the hectic week they had – no silly they don’t have their feet in a warm pedicure spa they are back to the grind!

I will definitely keep you filled in on what they are up to next!  Don’t forget to check out our website at www.TaylorFamilyCompanies.com and friend us on Facebook.
